Bringing clarity to the Grey Area

Care, knowledge and community for Caymanian families navigating brain cancer, tumours, seizures, and everything in between, so no one has to face it alone.

Our MISSION

Filling the space hospitals can't reach.

The Grey Area was born from Oscar and Melissa DaCosta's lived experience navigating Stage 4 glioblastoma in the Cayman Islands. They saw a critical gap in support beyond the hospital walls and built the organisation they wished had existed for them.

Today, we bring care, advocacy and community to every Caymanian family touched by brain and neurological illness.

WHAT WE DO

Three pillars, one mission.

From the moment of diagnosis through every step that follows, The Grey Area meets families where they are, with practical help, real information, and a community that understands.
